Gallery and Shop

The New York Folklore Gallery and Shop features the work of New York's folk and traditional artists.

We display the craft of wood carvers, quilters, fiber artists, Haudenosaunee beadworkers and basketmakers, stone carvers, metal workers, furniture makers, and many more. Your purchase in our online shop or in-person Gallery Shop in Schenectady directly benefits the participating artists.  Along with providing these traditional arts for sale, the Gallery places folk and traditional art in the context of the cultural environment it came from by providing educational materials about the artist and their community.
