Fairy “Tails” at Kids Arts Fest with D’Vonne Faulks & New York Folklore

Come to Downtown Schenectady for the annual Kids Arts Festival!
In front of the New York Folklore Gallery, tradition bearer D’Vonne Faulks will be teaching kids how to braid “fairy” hair, using traditional African American hair braiding techniques and sparkly “fairy hair!”
Friend of New York Folklore, Anping Liu will also be demonstrating Chinese seal carving at Kids Art Festival.
