Ruxana Saifi calls herself an ‘Artist by Nature’, she works mostly with recycled material to create art. She was born and raised in Hyderabad, India and came to Albany, New York as a newly married young adult in the mid-eighties and enrolled in SUNY Albany to pursue the arts. Ruxana’s art expresses her experiences, spirituality, values and dual homelands. The need to ” Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover” is at the heart of Ruxana’s life and art work.
