New York Folklore’s Birthday Bash!

Join New York Folklore for its 80th Birthday Celebration to take place in Downtown Schenectady’s Jay Square, located conveniently on Jay Street across from City Hall. There will be music and dance performances, an artists’ marketplace (credit cards will be accepted!) and, of course, a birthday cake! Come help us celebrate 80 years of working collaboratively with New York’s diverse communities.
The marketplace will feature products like Ecuadorian metalwork and leatherwork, Afghan jewelry and embroidery, Chinese paper arts and much more! Services available for purchase include hairbraiding and henna!
A variety of our Jay Street Neighbors will be offering discounts to customers who wish “Happy Birthday New York Folklore” on Saturday September 21st when purchasing! This list is growing, so check back before purchasing
