March Art Night

Join New York Folklore for Art Night in Schenectady! This event is free and open to the public.

New York Folklore will host the Aung Family in our gallery. Pinya and Ehsue Aung, along with their children Wae Nin, Myint, and Sunin will give intermittent performances of Karen music and dance. Karen are an indigenous people of Burma/Myanmar. The Aung family was among the first to settle in the Capital District. Wae Nin and Myint are featured in New York Folklore’s current exhibit, Young Traditions.

Art Night Schenectady, Friday March 21st 5pm – 8:30pm.

A one-night pop-up art gallery and music celebration on the 3rd Friday of every month displayed across a dozen venues across Downtown Schenectady. Come celebrate our local artists, musicians, and businesses!
