As part of Downtown Schenectady’s Art Night for October, New York Folklore will hold an opening reception for “Yellow Mountain Journey,” a study of Zhong Hua Lu’s journey in the Yellow Mountain region of China through the medium of Chinese brush painting. We invite you to come “Meet the Artist.”
Zhong-Hua Lu is a recipient of an Individual Artist Grant from the New York State Council on the Arts. This grant funded the creation of a 1000-foot scroll based on the artist’s trip to the Yellow Mountains (Huang Shan) of Anhui Province in China.
The New York Folklore gallery is funded through grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, Arts Thrive and Grow – funded by New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature through a special Senate Initiative; and through a Schenectady County Arts Grant.
