New York Folklore maintains and supports a growing network of teaching folk artists and classroom educators through technical assistance and professional development activities. New York Folklore’s Folk Arts Education Network is strengthened through our ongoing partnership with Local Learning who has been offering the “Culture, Community, and the Classroom” training in New York since 2018. New York Folklore also supports arts education programming initiated by school districts and artists.
