DESCRIPTION:Come to Downtown Schenectady for the annual Kids Arts Festival! \nIn front of the New York Folklore Gallery\, tradition bearer D’Vonne Faulks will be teaching kids how to braid “fairy” hair\, using traditional African American hair braiding techniques and sparkly “fairy hair!” \nFriend of New York Folklore\, Anping Liu will also be demonstrating Chinese seal carving at Kids Art Festival. \nNew York Folklore program’s made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. \n  \n  \n
