DESCRIPTION:Calling all Central New York Educators! CNY Teaching Artist Conference 2024 will be held on October 24 – 25\, 2024 in Syracuse\, NY. \n\n\n\n\nRegistration is now open!\nThis conference offers a unique professional development experience for teaching artists\, arts educators\, students\, and anyone passionate about the intersection of arts and education. Hosted at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown by CNY Arts in partnership with Syracuse University\, this conference will be an excellent opportunity for early and mid-career teaching artists to deepen knowledge and expand professional networks. \nNew York Folklore will present a session on the work of Local Learning: the National Network for Folk Arts in Education and the annual “Culture\, Community and the Classroom” workshops that are taking place in New York State. \nRegistration Rates: \nRegular Registration: $25\nStudent Registration: $15 \nScholarship funds are available\, apply through the registration link below.  New York Folklore can also support the participation of folk and traditional artists. \nRegister HERE \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCNY Arts is dedicated to making the the CNY Teaching Artist Conference accessible.
